Jane App — our medical charting and telemedicine platform (health information only)

Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) — for lab requisitions and results where applicable
Pharmacies and other healthcare providers — only where required for your care and with your knowledge
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers.

Health Information — BHRT Telemedicine Program
If you are a patient in our hormone health (BHRT) telemedicine program, your health information is governed by Alberta's Health Information Act (HIA) in addition to this policy.
Under HIA, you have the right to:
Request access to your health records
Request corrections to inaccurate information
Know how your information has been used or disclosed
Withdraw consent in certain circumstances
Health information collected through Jane App is stored on Canadian servers and is accessible only to authorized clinical staff involved in your care.
The custodian of your health information is our Medical Director, who holds prescribing authority and oversees clinical care. For health information requests, please contact us directly.

Retention & Destruction
Health records — retained for a minimum of 10 years from your last visit, as required by the Health Information Act
Aesthetic treatment records — retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with PIPA and business record requirements
Marketing preferences — retained until you unsubscribe or request removal
When records reach the end of their retention period, they are securely destroyed — digital records are permanently deleted and paper records are cross-cut shredded.

Your Rights
Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent for non-essential uses such as marketing communications at any time
Complaint — file a complaint with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (OIPC) if you believe your privacy rights have been violated
